Press Release: LTTA’s Danisha Patel Heads to the ITTF World Championships in Doha

Lenasia, South Africa – May 15, 2025 — The Lenasia Table Tennis Association (LTTA) proudly announces that Danisha Patel will represent South Africa at the prestigious International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) World Table Tennis Championships, taking place in Doha from May 17 to 25.

Danisha, both a seasoned player and coach, has demonstrated exceptional dedication and skill throughout her career. With over a decade of national and international experience, she continues to be a shining example of excellence in South African table tennis.

“As the LTTA, we are incredibly proud of Danisha’s achievements,” said LTTA Chairperson Vikash Kasan. “We’ve witnessed her unwavering commitment, passion, and relentless training. She is an inspiration to our community and a true ambassador for the sport.”

Speaking ahead of her departure, Danisha shared her thoughts:

“I am nervous and excited. I know what I’m getting myself into. So the plan is to just prepare well and play as hard as I can — but also to enjoy,” she said.
